New Moon Smoke Cleansing Bundle

New Moon Smoke Cleansing Bundle

AU$32.00Price

For Clearing + Cleansing: Self and Space :::

Smoke medicine is very old medicine + every healing tradition worldwide uses some form of smoke medicine for physical, energetic and spiritual cleansing. In this bundle of Summer herbs, there are plants from my personal lineages who have given me permission to work with them and share with you. They are offered as an alternative to White Sage ‘smudge’ sticks or Palo Santo which are sacred smoke herbs belonging to Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island and the Americas, whose global overuse has lead to White Sage becoming an endangered plant and Palo Santo’s unique dry, tropical forest habitat being decimated and threatened. As we heal we must remain open to awareness around cultural appropriation and not perpetuating further harm through our ‘healing’ practices. I cannot recommend enough that you seek out the smoke cleansing herbs from your own ancestral lineages – what a potent way to connect with your people and your plants! For now, enjoy the fragrant beauty of these bundled friends crafted on the New Moon, while releasing that which no longer serves you as we emerge from Winter’s dark cocoon back into the light of coming days.

Suggested Use: Use intentionally in ceremony, in daily magic or seasonally (like a New Moon or after bleeding) to clear stagnant energy after completing something or before beginning something new, to clear around your body from top of head to soles of feet, or cleanse a space that needs it (not forgetting the room corners, under beds or backs of cupboards).
How to: Light bundle on fire, then blow out flames until desired smoke whirls forth. Keep a saucer of sand or soil nearby to safely extinguish any remaining stick to use again later. Note: While the paper daisies look beautiful, they may ignite suddenly in use, feel free to remove before burning.

Ingredients: LAVENDER (Lavandula x heterophylla), SWEET ANNIE (Artemisia annua), MULLEIN (Verbascum thapsus),YARROW (Achillea millefolium), STRAWFLOWER (Xerochrysum bracteatum) - all organically grown

  • What is Mutual Aid? Who am I "paying forward" to?

In our attempt to make plant medicines more accessible for all, Seed Medicine Garden sends regular free medicine donations to communities as needs arise. In the past this has included Indigenous activists, youth leaders and trans youth, as well as homeless single mothers, refugees and members of the disabled community.

When you "pay forward" 1 or 2 products, you will still receive one (or selected quantity) of your chosen medicine as well as donating the credit for 1 or 2 products to go towards our herbal mutual aid projects.

There seems to be an increasing call for plant support through these times and we are continually seeking pathways to those who need it most. Please contact us: connect@seedmedicine.garden if you or a community you know is without financial means but needing herbal care.
